Getting Around In Washington D.C.

The local taxing authority and chamber of commerce may not like what we're about let you in on but we think with the rising gas prices you should know how to get around DC on the cheap. A rental car is not required if your planning to stay within the Beltway area. The local subway system is a great way to get around the city. At Reagan National Airport you can jump on the subway directly in the terminal, at Dulles you will take a short shuttle ride to the train. Most hotels in the area are within a short walk of the train station. With lines to just about every area you can beat the Metro subway system.
